Daniel Stephen Klein
1944-2020
Daniel Klein, 76, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born January 26, 1944, in Plainfield, New Jersey, a son of the late Stephen and Joanna Pruchnik Klein
. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna E. Klein and a son, D.J. Klein.
He was a self-employed contractor and was involved in Boyd County Repair Affair, a volunteer group of contractors that help the less fortunate. He proudly served his country with the United States Army.
He is survived by his long time companion, Brenda Burns; a son, Scott (Angelina) Klein of Grayson; two daughters, Jennifer (Michael Smith-deceased) Klein of Grayson and Donna (Brian Woods) Klein of Lexington, KY; a brother, Stephen Klein of Middlesex, NJ; two sisters, Diane Barr of Beverly Hills, FL and Mary Jane Cochran of Cooper City, FL; fourteen grandchildren, Joslyn, Maverick, Dylan, Isaac, Destiney, Anna Grace, Destiny, Madison, Cameron, Courtney, Kate, Beth, Sarah, and Jacob; three great-grandchildren, Josh, Ryan, and Evelina.
Due to the COVID pandemic restrictions and the family's request, there will be a private visitation at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson.
