Venetia Miller Stamper
Venetia Stamper, 86, of Grayson, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 14, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born January 19, 1934, in Farmington, Maine, a daughter of the late Charles Irwin and Olive Rand Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darriel Stamper, and a brother, Charles Miller
Venetia was a devoted Christian homemaker, mother, and grandmother who was a very active member of the church she loved, Gregoryville Christian Church. She was a long time member of the Carter County Homemakers Club, a Cub Scout Den mother, and a Girl Scout leader. She also had made quilts for the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Carter County Quilts of Valor, and knitted mittens for kindergarten children for many years.
She is survived by a son, Charles Patrick (Teresa) Stamper; two daughters, Debbie (Don) Griffith, and Becki (Dino) Corsetti all of Grayson; a brother, Bill Miller of Lexington, KY; four grandchildren, Kelsey (Charles) Berry, Stephen (Courtney) Holbrook, Levi Jackson Kiser, and Zachariah Wilton Kiser; two great-grandsons Jacob and Jace Holbrook, and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be conducted at the Everman Cemetery by Ron Arnett, minister.
