Virgie was one of the kindest, most caring people you could hope to meet. So many fond memories of visiting her and Grandpa in Kentucky that I won’t ever forget (including passing along her expertise in shooting BB guns!) . She made it her mission to send me back to Ohio a little bit heavier than when I arrived on Hog Branch. She’ll be missed tremendously but remembered fondly. Jon Flannery

So sad to hear this news. Virgie was everything a stepmom & step-grandmother should be to my dad (Cecil) and his siblings. She doted on my son when he and I would come to visit her and Grampy on Hog Branch Road. She was selfless, cheerful, funny and loving. Please know how much we loved her - she is a part of so many of wonderful childhood memories.
