Virgie was one of the kindest, most caring people you could hope to meet. So many fond memories of visiting her and Grandpa in Kentucky that I won’t ever forget (including passing along her expertise in shooting BB guns!) . She made it her mission to send me back to Ohio a little bit heavier than when I arrived on Hog Branch. She’ll be missed tremendously but remembered fondly.

Who enjoyed people... and talking... more than Virgie? We will miss her and her stories and she will not ever be forgotten.

So sad to hear this news. Virgie was everything a stepmom & step-grandmother should be to my dad (Cecil) and his siblings. She doted on my son when he and I would come to visit her and Grampy on Hog Branch Road. She was selfless, cheerful, funny and loving. Please know how much we loved her - she is a part of so many of wonderful childhood memories.
