James ""Ditty Bill"" Kazee
Ditty Bill Kazee, 85, of Grayson went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 09, 2017 at the Community Hospice Center in Ashland. He was born November 2, 1932 to the late James and Myrtle Kazee Fauson and the late Arnold Fauson.
Harold, better known as “Ditty Bill” to all that knew him, was a truck driver for over 60 years. He began driving at the age of 16 and retired in 2011 at the age of 79. He was a longtime member of the Willard Wesleyan Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Janet Faye Thornbury Kazee; three sisters, Frances Baxter, Mary Jo Sergent; and Ruby Kazee; a brother, Gene Fosson.
He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Cline of Medway, OH; a son, James Michael Kazee of Grayson; a brother, Ray (Jewell) Fosson of Grayson; two sisters, Helen (Earl) Allquist of Idaho and Marilyn (Ed) Caudill of Grayson; a niece, Dana (Jerry) McKinney and great-niece, Melanie McKinney all of Grayson; grandchildren, Chad Cline and Justin Kazee; step-grandchildren, Jeremy (Shana) Johnson, Jill (Brandon) Bays and Brittany Johnson; step-great-grandchildren, Addison Warren, Elijah Johnson and Emily Johnson; great-granddaughter, Payton Cline; and two great-great-granddaughters, Addilynn and Bryleigh McCoy.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home, David Wilcox, minister. Burial will follow at the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday, November 13, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home and after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
